Barley Noodle Soup Recipe

Barley noodle soup is a delicious and satisfying soup that you can prepare quickly with a few ingredients. Tomato paste is usually used in Turkish cuisine, but you can also make this recipe with a suitable amount of tomatoes when cooking barley noodle soup.

Although there are not many different recipes, there are also recipes with small differences and different ingredients. Barley noodle soup is one of the easiest soups to make. If you wish, you can use chicken broth or broth instead of water. It is more delicious this way. You can increase or decrease the amount of water to get the consistency you want.

This recipe can prepare a delicious soup for 4 people in 30 minutes.

  • 100 g minced meat,
  • 1 medium onion,
  • 1 clove garlic,
  • 1 tablespoon butter,
  • 2 tablespoons sunflower oil,
  • 1 capia pepper,
  • Half a 1/4 cup barley noodles,
  • 5 1/2 cup water,
  • 10 sprigs parsley,
  • 1 teaspoon salt,
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste,

Step 1: Boil water in the kettle,

Step 2: Finely chop the onion, garlic and capia pepper,

Step 3: Put the minced meat in a saucepan and cook on medium heat until there is no water left,

Step 4: Add the butter and sunflower oil and cook for 2 minutes,

Step 5: Add capia pepper and heat for 5 minutes to soften, stir

Step 6: Add the onion and garlic and continue heat for 10 minutes to soften,

Step 7: Add the barley noodle and heat for 2 minutes,

Step 8: Add hot water and salt, give it a good stir,

Step 9: Close the lid and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes,

Step 10: Open the lid from time to time and stir,

Step 11: After the soup is cooked, add the finely chopped parsley. You can also add mint if you wish.
